देहरादून – मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने सहस्त्रधारा रोड़ में DOON DEFENCE DREAMERS एवं नगर निगम देहरादून द्वारा आयोजित DREAMERS “क्लीन सिटी, ग्रीन सिटी, यही है मेरा ड्रीम सिटी” थीम पर आधारित स्वच्छता कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने छात्रों के साथ सड़क पर स्वयं सफाई कर स्वच्छता का संदेश दिया, एवं स्वच्छता की शपथ दिलवाई।
कार्यक्रम में संबोधन के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि क्लीन सिटी, ग्रीन सिटी एवं देहरादून को स्वच्छ करने का कार्य समाज सेवा ,प्रकृति, पर्यावरण एवं श्रमदान का कार्य है। उन्होंने कहा हमें यह सुनिश्चित करना होगा कि प्रकृति द्वारा दिए गए संसाधन एवं सुंदरता आने वाले भविष्य के लिए भी बचे, इसके लिए आज हमें स्वच्छता का संकल्प लेना है। उन्होंने कहा देहरादून शहर देश के प्रमुख शहरों में से एक है इसकी स्वच्छता से हम पूरे देश में पर्यावरण के प्रति सकारात्मक संकेत दे सकते हैं। शहर की सुंदरता एवं स्वच्छता से ही पर्यटक में शहर के प्रति अच्छा संदेश जाता है। उन्होंने देहरादून शहर को पूरी तरह क्लीन एवं ग्रीन रखने की बात कहते हुए स्वच्छता को सहभागिता से किया जाने वाला कार्य बताया। उन्होंने कहा प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के योगदान से ही स्वच्छता संभव हो सकती है उन्होंने युवाओं से विशेष तौर पर स्वच्छता जैसे कार्यक्रमों में ज्यादा से ज्यादा जुड़ने का आग्रह किया।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने सर्वप्रथम स्वच्छ भारत अभियान के अंतर्गत स्वयं झाड़ू पकड़ देश को स्वच्छता का संदेश दिया। उन्होंने कहा स्वच्छ भारत अभियान एक आंदोलन के रूप में पूरे भारत में उभरा, जिसके अंतर्गत तमाम योजनाओं का संचालन किया गया। उन्होंने कहा प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में आने वाले समय में 10 लाख नौकरी दिए जाने पर कार्य किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा हमें उत्तराखंड राज्य को आने वाले समय में स्वच्छता के साथ ही विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में देश का सर्वश्रेष्ठ राज्य बनाना है, जिसके लिए राज्य सरकार विकल्प रहित संकल्प के साथ कार्य कर रही है।
मेयर सुनील उनियाल गामा ने मुख्यमंत्री धामी को चंपावत उप चुनाव में विजय हेतु शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री धामी के नेतृत्व में क्लीन दून ग्रीन दून पर कार्य किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहां देहरादून को सुंदर एवं स्वच्छ रखे जाने के कार्य में नगर निगम का मुख्यमंत्री धामी द्वारा हमेशा पूर्ण रूप से सहयोग किया है। उन्होंने कहा मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के नेतृत्व में उत्तराखंड राज्य को स्वच्छता के क्षेत्र में नंबर-1 बनेगा।
इस दौरान विधायक खजान दास दून डिफेंस ड्रीमर्स के अध्यक्ष हरिओम चौधरी एवं अन्य लोग मौजूद रहे।
