केदारनाथ त्रासदी को नौ वर्ष पूरे हो चुके हैं और इस कालखंड में केदारपुरी का स्वरूप पूरी तरह बदल चुका है। अब तीर्थ यात्री पहले के मुकाबले कई गुना अधिक उत्साह से बाबा के दर्शनों और केदारपुरी के दिव्य एवं भव्य स्वरूप को निहारने आ रहे हैं।
दर्शनार्थियों की संख्या इन नौ वर्षों में दोगुना से अधिक हो गई है। सरकार ने केदारपुरी को आपदा की दृष्टि से काफी सुरक्षित बना दिया है। धाम के चारों ओर सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से त्रिस्तरीय सुरक्षा दीवार का निर्माण किया गया है।
मंदाकिनी व सरस्वती नदी में बाढ़ सुरक्षा कार्य किए गए हैं। धाम में पहले के मुकाबले अब तीर्थ यात्रियों को काफी बेहतर सुविधाएं सरकार की ओर से उपलब्ध कराई जा रही हैं।
आपदा के बाद ही पहली बार वर्ष 2019 में दस लाख से अधिक यात्री बाबा के दर्शनों को पहुंचे। वर्तमान में प्रधानमंत्री के ड्रीम प्रोजेक्ट के तहत द्वितीय चरण के कार्य हो रहे हैं। जबकि, प्रथम चरण के कार्य लगभग 95 प्रतिशत पूरे हो चुके हैं।
16-17 जून 2013 को आई आपदा के बाद केदारनाथ में हुई तबाही का मंजर बेहद खौफनाक था। तब यह अनुमान लगा पाना मुश्किल था कि भविष्य में केदारनाथ यात्रा शुरू हो पाएगी भी या नहीं। लेकिन, बीते नौ वर्षों में यात्रा के प्रति देश-विदेश के तीर्थ यात्रियों का उत्साह दोगुना हो गया।
तीर्थ यात्रियों का सैलाब उमड़ने से नए रिकार्ड बने हैं। इससे केदारनाथ यात्रा को नई ऊंचाइयां मिली हैं। आपदा से अब केदारपुरी पूरी तरह उबर चुकी है। विषम भौगोलिक परिस्थितियों के बावजूद कम समय में ही पुनर्निर्माण कार्य पूरे हुए हैं।
प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के ड्रीम प्रोजेक्ट के तहत तीन चरणों में कार्य होने हैं। इनमें द्वितीय चरण के 125 करोड़ के कार्य इस वर्ष अंत तक पूरे करने का लक्ष्य है। जबकि, प्रथम चरण में 130 करोड़ के कार्य पूरे हो चुके हैं।

जिलाधिकारी मयूर दीक्षित बताते हैं कि मंदिर के ठीक पीछे मंदाकिनी व सरस्वती नदी पर 390 मीटर लंबी 18 फीट ऊंची व दो फीट चौड़ी कंक्रीट की त्रिस्तरीय दीवार बनाई गई है। इसके चलते आपदा की दृष्टि से केदारपुरी काफी सुरक्षित हो गई है। मंदाकिनी व सरस्वती नदी पर भी सुरक्षा दीवार बनाई गई है। सरकार ने तीर्थ पुरोहितों के लिए 210 भवनों का निर्माण केदारपुरी में कराया है।
भीमबली से केदारनाथ तक दस किमी नया रास्ता तैयार किया गया है। इसमें छोटी लिनचोली, लिनचोली, रुद्रा प्वांइट समेत कई छोटे बाजार बन चुके हैं। केदारनाथ पैदल मार्ग भी पहले के मुकाबले काफी अच्छा व सुरक्षित हो गया है।

तीन से चार मीटर चौड़े पैदल मार्ग पर रेलिंग लगाई गई है। लिनचोली, छोटी लिनचोली, रुद्रा प्वाइंट समेत कई पड़ाव विकसित कर यहां यात्रियों के ठहरने की व्यवस्थाएं की गई हैं। इसी का नतीजा है कि रिकार्ड तीर्थ यात्री केदारनाथ धाम पहुंच रहे हैं।
आपदा के बाद बढ़ा हेली सेवा का क्रेज:
आपदा के बाद केदारनाथ के लिए हेली सेवा का क्रेज काफी बढ़ गया है। वर्तमान में नौ हेली कंपनियों को केदारनाथ के लिए उड़ान भरने की अनुमति दी गई है। इस वर्ष अब तक 70 हजार से अधिक तीर्थ यात्री हेली सेवा से बाबा के दर्शनों को पहुंच चुके हैं। कुल यात्रा का दस से 15 प्रतिशत तीर्थ यात्री हेली सेवा से दर्शनों को पहुंच रहे हैं।
आपदा में मारे गए थे 4700 तीर्थ यात्री:
केदारनाथ आपदा में 4700 तीर्थ यात्रियों के शव बरामद हुए, जबकि पांच हजार से अधिक लापता हो गए थे। हालांकि, इस त्रासदी में मरने वालों की सही संख्या को लेकर तरह-तरह के कयास लगाए गए।
