पौड़ी : मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने आज श्रीनगर में केंद्रीयकृत प्रशिक्षण केंद्र सशस्त्र सीमा बल के दीक्षांत समारोह में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में प्रतिभाग किया। इस दौरान नव प्रशिक्षुओं का दीक्षांत समारोह धूमधाम से मनाया गया। मख्यमंत्री ने सलामी के उपरांत पासिंग आउट परेड का निरीक्षण भी किया। आयोजित परेड में 278 प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त जवानों द्वारा मुख्य अतिथि के सम्मुख शपथ ग्रहण किया गया।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त जवान भारतीय सीमा सशस्त्र बल का हिस्सा बन चुके हैं। उन्होंने सभी प्रशिक्षुओं को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि तन,मन व धन से देश की रक्षा करें। सीमा पर रहने वाले देश के नागरिक भी सुरक्षाबलों के समान ही एक प्रहरी के रूप में अपना दायित्व निभाते हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उन शहीदों को नमन करता हूं जिन्होंने राष्ट्र की रक्षा करते हुए अपना सर्वोच्य बलिदान दिया है। कहा कि सरहद पर खड़े जवानों के कारण ही हम अपने घरों में सुरक्षित हैं। भारतीय सीमा सुरक्षा बल हर विपत्ति में नागरिकों का साथ देता है। साथ ही उन्होंने कहा कि अर्ध सैनिक बलों का जो इतिहास रहा है उस को आगे बढ़ाने का काम यह प्रशिक्षित जवान करेंगे तथा क्षेत्र में जाकर भारत के मान सम्मान बनाने का काम करेंगे। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि मुझे गर्व है कि एसएसबी जवान सीमा की सुरक्षा के साथ-साथ अनेकों दायित्वों का निर्वहन तत्परता से करते हैं। कहा कि एसएसबी जवानों द्वारा कोरोना काल तथा चुनाव के समय में शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से कार्य किया।
सशस्त्र सीमा बल के दीक्षांत समारोह में ओवरऑल बेस्ट प्रशिक्षु पुरस्कार सचिन सैनी तथा आंतरिक प्रशिक्षण का पुरस्कार शुभम तिवारी को दिया गया। देश रक्षा के लिए आज 278 जवान शामिल हुए। जिसमें बिहार से 94, उत्तर प्रदेश से 74, मध्यप्रदेश से 44, उत्तराखंड से 24, राजस्थान 21, जम्मू कश्मीर 20, दिल्ली से 01 जवानों ने 44 सप्ताह के प्रशिक्षण के बाद आज देश सेवा की शपथ ली।
इस अवसर पर उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ0 धन सिंह रावत, जिलाधिकारी डॉ0 विजय कुमार जोगदण्डे, एसएसपी यशवंत सिंह चौहान, एसएसबी महानिरीक्षक रतन संजय, उप महानिरीक्षक सृष्टि राज गुप्ता सहित सैन्य अधिकारी व अन्य उपस्थित रहे।
