देहरादून : पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री भारत रत्न अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी की 98वीं जयंती की पूर्व संध्या पर कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी के सहयोग से स्कूली छात्र-छात्राओं को ठण्ड से बचने के लिए कोट वितरित किए गए। पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री एवं लोकप्रिय राजनीज्ञ अटल विहारी वाजपेयी के जन्म दिवस को सुशासन दिवस के तौर पर मनाया जाता है। सुशासन दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर आयोजित कोट वितरण कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत देहरादून छावनी क्षेत्रांतर्गत ‘‘ब्लूमिंग बड्स’’ स्कूल से की गई।
पूर्व निर्धारित कार्यक्रम के अनुसार कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी को कोट वितरण कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित रहना था, परंतु अल्मोड़ा से लौट रहे कैबिनेट मंत्रीे हैलिकॉप्टर के उड़ न पाने के कारण इस कार्यक्रम में नहीं रह पाए। भाजपा मण्डल अध्यक्ष राजीव गुरुंग एवं सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता मयंक जोशी द्वारा कैबिनेट मंत्री का संदेश कार्यक्रम आयोजकों को दिया। उन्होनें बताया कि मंत्री द्वारा प्रतिवर्ष विद्यालयों को बच्चों को कोट प्रदान किये जाते रहे हैं।
शहीद दुर्गामल मंडल के अध्यक्ष राजीव गुरूंग ने ब्लूमिंग बड्स स्कूल द्वारा सिंगल यूज्ड् प्लास्टिक के सुरक्षित निपटान हेतु स्कूल द्वारा बनाई गई इकोब्रिक्स के प्रयोग की प्रशंसा की। उन्होंने कहा कि इस क्षेत्र के विधायक तथा राज्य सरकार में कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी हर समय क्षेत्र के विकास के लिए तथा नागरिकों को सीधा लाभ प्रदान करने के लिए प्रयासरत रहते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि गणेश जोशी द्वारा मसूरी क्षेत्र के सभी स्कूलों के लगभग 5000 बच्चों को सर्दी से बचाने के लिए कोट उपलब्ध करवाने को लक्ष्य रखा गया है।
इस अवसर पर देहरादून छावनी क्षेत्र की सीईओ तनु जैन ने कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी का आभार व्यक्त किया कि उनके द्वारा कैंट बोर्ड अंतर्गत संचालित स्कूल के बच्चों को सर्दी से बचने के लिए गर्म कोट उपलब्ध करवाए हैं।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य बंसत उपाध्याय, भाजपा मंडल महामंत्री राहुल रावत, नीरु बिष्ट, पूर्व सभासद मेघा भट्ट, रविंद्र कौर सोंदी, मनोज क्षेत्री, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता ममता खत्री, प्रभा शाह, अनुज रोहिला, राज जोशी आदि भी उपस्थित रहे।
